Quality Preschool and Childcare Charger Child Care, Inc.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

Our most asked question is, "How soon should I start looking for infant child care?"

Answer: Right after you've peed on a stick!

There is a per family one-time registration fee, and your weekly child care tuition. The only other fees you may be asked to pay are for activities (e.g. field trips), or for special art projects (e.g. gifts for loved ones).
The rate for child care at Charger Child Care varies depending on the age of the child and the days your child needs care. Please refer to our Parent Handbook for current prices.
First, let the Director know of your circumstance. To keep your child enrolled, they must attend a minimum of two days per week.
Parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s day. Taking time to talk with your child’s teacher upon drop off and pick times helps ensure that we are providing the best care possible. Posting your child’s classroom lesson plan in a place that you and your child care talk about upcoming events to ensure they don’t miss anything. Having a conversation with them while driving home helps your child feel that you value them and their thoughts and is the base line for the future.
Charger Child Care opened our doors on June 6, 2008. The original space housed three classrooms of 2 to 5 year olds and was licensed for 30 children. When we expanded in 2014, we remodeled the upstairs of the building to include infants, toddlers and school age friends. We are now proudly licensed for 79 children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old.
We use a theme based curriculum. This is an instructional method of teaching in which emphasis is given on choosing a specific theme while teaching many concepts. Our main weekly focus is science, math, language, art, large motor, and small motor, social skills, and manners.
It depends on our classroom capacity at the time of your need. When you call to inquire about care, you will be asked if you would like to tour our facility or be put on our waiting list. At the time of the tour we will discuss availability. Registration fee and a packet of information needs to be turned in to the office before the child can attend.
We do not require that children be potty trained, although it is preferred when entering the Leap Frogs (3-4 year old room) and the Busy Bee room (4-5 year old room).
Charger Child Care has specific policies to follow that are outlined in the parent handbook.
